This coming Thursday is the 5th Thursday in the month, which means the 8:00pm 6-meter net is going MilComm! Bust out the old green machines and join us on 52.525 MHz FM mode (no tone please, some of us have RF-10's). No MilComm equipment? No worries! Join us anyhow on any FM mode 6-meter equipment and marvel at the width of the signals.

A quick word on VE Testing: The location is changing to the Fulton County Administration Building, 152 S Fulton St, Wauseon, OH 43567. We'll be in the same room as our club meetings on the second floor. The time and date remain the same. This will be considered a permanent change.

Ready for something different? How about a club meeting and dinner?  We eluded to this in the meeting notes sent out, and to make it official, the August 16th stated meeting will be at the Delta 109 in Delta, OH.  Yes, we are still meeting at 7:30pm, and yes, you are responsible for your own dinner costs.  Since summer meetings tend to be a bit on the more relaxed side, with many of the big events past us, it was proposed we do a combo dinner and club meeting.  See you at the 109!

The meeting was called to order at 7:40pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG) with 15 members and guests in attendance, introductions were made and the pledge of allegiance was given by all.

Treasurers Report: KB8ELH gave the report (balances not published online). A motion was made by KG8FM to accept the report and seconded by W8TUX. All were in favor.

Education/VE Committee:

KD8ZKE indicated two candidates for testing have committed to July 31.  VEs are asked to be at the Fulton Masonic Lodge in Delta at the usual time.

Hamfest Committee:

The December Hamfest is set for December 4th at Ruihley Park Pavilion in Archbold, OH.

Repeater Committee:

The continued discussion was had on getting an internet connection at the main repeater shack for the purpose if IRLP and EchoLink, as well as DMR.

Old Business:

Just got a call from Delta PD, we are not need for the chicken run, so they want us at THE DELTA PD! At 10 AM, NOT at the tent. Get this out to everyone we can as soon as possible.
