6/19/23: The meeting was called to order at Fulton County Museum and Welcome Center, 8848 State Hwy 108, Wauseon, OH 43567 at 7:31 pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG). 19 members were in attendance, introductions were made and the Pledge of Allegiance was given by all.

FCARC radio equipment:

  • FCARC has obsolete radio equipment--KB8ELG brought to Summer Hamfest, sold quite a bit.

  • Yaesu DX10 and Fulton County EMA Office: ICOM 7300.

  • Equipment donation not been received from Delta yet.

Repeater Maintenance: KB8ELG is acquiring quotes. DX Engineering suggested we talk to Bridgecom for duplexers.

VE/Education Committee: two new General Class, one upgraded to General Class.

Storing Club equipment: repeater shed. New steel siding donated by KE8QJV. Roof is in good shape. Buy enclosed trailer? N3VGX has one for sale.

Bud's Midnight Madness: Awaiting KC8ROU return to running the net. KB8QJF and K8CAG have been Net Control. Sometimes unable run Friday nights per personal schedules.

Summer Hamfest: June 3, 2023 at the Woodlot in Tedrow. Massive success with significant profit. Largest K8BXQ Hamfest. K8CAG brought PA system. Door prizes donated by DX Engineering, Tiny's Dairy Barn, TSC, ARRL, Alpha Antenna, O'Reilly's, Wedding Crashers, Champion Powersports, Country Contours, Legacy Group Planning, Kenn-Feld Group Workman, NAPA. Raffle: Geochron, Raddy RF7560. Dave's Weiner Emporium for food truck-- delicious. VE testing provided-- one upgrade to General.

Summer Field Day: 4th Saturday in June at the Woodlot.

  • Planning 10-12 stations, very strategic considering all avenues to achieve points. Able to camp along north side of property, pull in campers the night before. Logbook. KD8ZKE drone? Baked beans/coffee: Ed. Bryan: ham and cabbage. Non-hams and elected officials welcome for education points. Discussed organizing committees for food and other incidentals for increased organization and decreased chaos at events.


Next Fox Hunt 7/23/23. KE8QJV is Fox. Winner will determined by mileage.

Looking for volunteers: Swanton fireworks 7/1/23 5:00 PM. Delta Chicken Fest 7/15/23 1030.

KE8QJV discussed POTA activation monthly using FCARC call sign.


    Winter Hamfest: Ruiley Park. Arrive time: 0800. Doors open at 0900.

    2023 Christmas Party: FCARC 2023 Christmas Party will be held at the Blue Ribbon Diner in Wauseon.

    VE Testing: The club gives testing at 9:00 am the last Saturday of each month at the Fulton County Museum and Welcome Center. 8848 State Hwy 108, Wauseon, OH 43567.     Saturday morning breakfast at the Delta 109 at 9:00 AM, in downtown Delta, OH.
