The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG) with 15 members and guests in attendance, the pledge of allegiance was given by all.

Members in Distress: nothing to report

Treasurers Report: The report was given and a motion was made by KD8WSL and seconded by KD8BHW. All present were in favor.

Bills to Present: Two bills were presented.  The first by KD8KBU for $25 for reimbursement for renewing the Clubs non-profit status with the state of Ohio.  A motion was made to reimburse KD8KBU by KC8UQU and seconded by KC8PCU, all were in favor. A second bill was presented for reimbursement of office supply expenses to KB8ELG.  A motion to reimburse him was made by WB8ZOI and seconded by KD8WSL, all were in favor.

Hamfest Committee: KB8ELG presented a finance report from the winter hamfest showing a profit of $625.75.  A motion was made by W8TUX to accept the report, seconded by KC8UQU, all were in favor.  We were informed that there was a lot of positive feedback on the hamfest this year.  Attendance was also up year of year.  The next FCARC sponsored Hamfest will be the summer trunk swap on June 6, followed by the winter hamfest on December 5.

Repeater Committee: Building maintenance was conducted at the end of 2019.  New trim boards and fresh paint was applied, and the HVAC was switched over to heat for the season.

Old Business: We still need to product a DX Engineering manifest for our County EMA to put in an Amateur station.  KB8ELG will be taking on this task.  The research into a License Plate for the Mast Trailer is still on KB8ELG’s task list as well.

New Business: W8TUX commented that we are getting near time to have another deployment exercise for emergency services.  He will have information available at the February meeting for proposed deployment itineraries.  

Election of Club Officers: A motion made to retain the current line of officers by KE8BHW and seconded by KC8PCU. All officers confirmed they would accept the positions for another year, all were in favor.

Good of Amateur Radio: A suggestion was made about using some king of VoIP or web conferencing software to include members at a distance for the club meetings. There are many commercial solutions available for voice conferencing, although EchoLink may be an option as well.

Correspondence: The TMRA sent an invitation for a free table for the club (no equipment sales) at their Hamfest in March.  KB8ELG also mentioned he will be purchasing several tables at the event which he will open to any paid club members to sell their equipment on.

VE Testing: The club gives testing at 9am the last Saturday of each month at the George's Radio Service in Wauseon, contact Tom Servoss (KC8UOM) if interested, you can find his phone number on the www.k8bxq.org website under the VE Testing section.

The next regular club meeting will be Monday, February 17 at 7:30pm at the County Administration Building.
